Stamps School of Art &amp; Design<\/a> and the Ross School of Business may choose to pursue a dual BFA\/BBA or BA\/BBA degree program. Specifics regarding a dual degree between Art &amp; Design and Business appear below.&nbsp;For more general information about dual degrees, including overall dual degree requirements and application procedures, please refer to iMpact pages for <a href=\"\/academics\/bba-dual\/prospective\">Prospective Students<\/a>, <a href=\"\/academics\/bba-dual\/applicants\">Applicants<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/academics\/bba-dual\/declared\">Declared Dual Degree Students<\/a>.  Students must be in good academic standing in order to pursue dual degrees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a name=\"req\"><\/a>I.&nbsp; Degree Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Complete all BBA degree requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><p>62 business credits (61 for students who entered the BBA program in Fall 2022 or Fall 2023 as First Year students, or Fall 2023 or Fall 2024 as Sophomores), including fixed and floating core classes, capstone, and electives), including fixed and floating core, capstone, and electives (<a href=\"\/academics\/core\/BBA#2014\">see curriculum<\/a>)<\/p><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p>54 non-business&nbsp;credits&nbsp;<\/p> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p><u><strong>Three<\/strong><\/u>&nbsp;of four distribution area requirements. &nbsp;Refer to the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lsa.umich.edu\/cg\">LSA&nbsp;Course Guide<\/a> to see if a course meets the requirements for a distribution area. &nbsp;Ross does not accept AP&nbsp;credits towards distribution.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><p>Humanities Distribution (HU): 9 credits<\/p> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p>Natural Sciences (NS) and\/or Mathematical and Symbolic Analysis (MSA): 9 credits<\/p> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p>Social Sciences (SS): 9 credits (<strong>excluding Econ 101 &amp; 102<\/strong>)<\/p> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><p>Foreign Language Proficiency: Fourth-term proficiency in a foreign language is determined by successful completion of a proficiency examination administered by UM, or by completion of a fourth-semester college-level foreign language course. AP&nbsp;coursework which meets fourth-term proficiency fulfills this requirement.
