It is&nbsp;<strong>YOUR<\/strong>&nbsp;responsibility to make sure you complete the appropriate courses and credits (e.g., distribution, business electives, non-business credits,&nbsp;etc.) for your degree. If you have not fulfilled your requirements by the end of Winter 2027, <strong>including any remaining floating core,&nbsp;<\/strong>you will not graduate.&nbsp;Don\u2019t get caught with a missing requirement halfway through your last term \u2013 make sure that you are aware of your remaining requirements and register for them in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>If you studied abroad through Ross during the WN26 term, you will need to register for BA 320 (0.5 credits) during the FA26 term.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Q-How-do-I-know-which-degree-requirements-I-have-or-havent-completed\"><strong>Q. How do I know which degree requirements I have or haven\u2019t completed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>&nbsp;Review the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/academics\/core\/BBA\">BBA core curriculum<\/a>, track your progress using the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/academics\/degree-requirements\">Degree&nbsp;Requirements&nbsp;Checklist<\/a>, and access a degree audit of your record under &#8220;Academic Requirements&#8221; in your Student Center on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wolverineaccess.umich.edu\">Wolverine Access<\/a>. Be sure to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bus.umich.edu\/iMpact\/CounselingCalendar\/Default.aspx?umbs_dept_id=80\">schedule an appointment<\/a>&nbsp;with your academic advisor periodically to discuss your academic plan and ensure you are on track for graduation. Dual Degree students will need to schedule a &#8220;BBA Dual Degree Advising\/Issues&#8221; appointment with their advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"whendoineedtocompletemyfloatingcoreclasses\"><strong>Q. When do I need to complete my floating core classes? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A. You must complete all four floating core classes (BE 300, FIN 300, MKT 300, TO 300) <strong>by the end of the Fall 2026 semester<\/strong> in order to be eligible for a Capstone course in Winter 2027. Unlike with STRATEGY 390, the Ross Registrar&#8217;s Office will <strong>not<\/strong> automatically register you for your remaining floating core classes. It is up to you to make sure you know which floating core classes you have remaining (see instructions for running a degree audit in question above) and to make sure you register for them as soon as your registration appointment opens since these classes can and will fill throughout the registration window. You do not have a seat reserved for you in your remaining floating core class(es). If you do not complete all four floating core classes before your Capstone, you will not be able to automatically proceed into your Capstone course in your Senior Winter, which will delay your ability to graduate on time. <strong><em>Specific sections of floating core may be reserved for certain student populations &#8211; check Wolverine Access for details closer to your registration date.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Is%20there%20a%20way%20I%20can%20begin%20my%20capstone%20experience%20in%20Fall%202019?\"><strong>Q. Is there a way I can begin my capstone experience in Fall 2026?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>&nbsp;The capstone courses are offered in Winter 2027.&nbsp; One possible option for students to begin the capstone experience in Fall 2026&nbsp;is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>BA 480: Senior Seminar (Thesis) &#8211; 6 credits<\/strong><br>The BA 480 Senior Capstone thesis course awards 3 business elective credits in Fall 2026&nbsp;and 3 capstone credits in Winter 2027.&nbsp; Instructor consent is required for registration.&nbsp; BA 480 is reserved for BBA Seniors.&nbsp; Feel free to review the <a href=\"https:\/\/rossweb.bus.umich.edu\/academics\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2026\/03\/f25w26-ba480-course-highlights.pdf\">BA 480 Senior Capstone Thesis Information Session materials<\/a> for more details.&nbsp;If you are eligible and interested in enrolling, please send the following documents to Professor Burcu Tasoluk (<a href=\"mailto:btasoluk@umich.edu\">btasoluk@umich.edu<\/a>): a) your current resume, and b) a &#8220;statement of interest&#8221; outlining your broad research area and explaining why you would like to fulfill your capstone requirement by enrolling in this course and writing a Senior thesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"If%20I%20don't%20complete%20the%20IDO%20requirement,%20will%20I%20graduate?\"><strong>Q. If I don&#8217;t complete the ILP requirement, will I graduate?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.&nbsp;<\/strong>No. BBA Seniors must complete their Inclusive Leaders Pathway milestones in order to graduate.&nbsp; You will complete your fourth and final Milestone co-curricularly and should expect more information about this&nbsp;<strong>required<\/strong>&nbsp;learning experience to be available on the BBA Milestone Canvas site (make sure you have this site on your Canvas page) by the end of August. Is it true that I can waive my BE 300 floating core course?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A. <\/strong>Possibly.&nbsp; If you have successfully completed ECON 401 at UM-Ann Arbor with a final grade of A- or higher, you can request&nbsp;to&nbsp;waive&nbsp;the&nbsp;BE&nbsp;300&nbsp;floating core requirement. To make such a request, you must complete and submit the&nbsp;<a href=\"\/academics\/core-curriculum\/core-course-waivers\">BE&nbsp;300&nbsp;Core Course&nbsp;Waiver&nbsp;form<\/a>&nbsp;to the Ross Registrar\u2019s Office (<a href=\"mailto:rossregistrarsoffice@umich.edu\">rossregistrarsoffice@umich.edu<\/a>) <strong>by the end of your Junior Winter term<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;Please note: this&nbsp;waiver&nbsp;signifies that you have met competency in the material and does not grant credit.&nbsp;Therefore, if you waive BE&nbsp;300, you will&nbsp;need to complete additional business coursework to earn the 61.0 credits required for&nbsp;the&nbsp;BBA degree. If you have any questions about this&nbsp;waiver&nbsp;option and\/or your remaining degree requirements, please&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bus.umich.edu\/iMpact\/CounselingCalendar\/Default.aspx?umbs_dept_id=80\">contact your academic advisor<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"whataremyoptionsforspring\"><strong>Q. <strong>What are my options for spring\/summer coursework?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> If you&#8217;d like to take some classes in the spring\/summer, please know that there are limited business offerings (short-term study abroad and independent studies), but you may be able to complete non-business coursework that counts toward distribution requirements or toward a minor or dual degree, if applicable to you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"generalregistration\"><strong>General Registration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may use the University&#8217;s general registration process on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wolverineaccess.umich.edu\">Wolverine Access<\/a>&nbsp;to&nbsp;register for your Fall 2026 courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"When%20is%20my%20appointment%20time?\"><strong>Q. When is my appointment time?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>&nbsp;The University assigns registration appointment times for undergraduate students <strong>beginning on Monday, March 30.<\/strong>&nbsp;The times are determined by the credits completed, and then are randomly assigned. You can view your assigned time on&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wolverineaccess.umich.edu\">Wolverine Access<\/a>&nbsp;starting <strong>Wednesday,&nbsp;March 18<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Do%20I%20need%20to%20use%20backpack%20before%20registration%20opens?\"><strong>Q. Do I need to use backpack before registration opens?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong> We advise students to backpack the classes they plan to take using <a href=\"http:\/\/wolverineaccess.umich.edu\">Wolverine Access<\/a>&nbsp;each semester. You may begin backpacking classes for Fall 2026 as early as <strong>Wednesday, March 18.<\/strong> Be aware that backpacking does not reserve a seat for you in the class &#8211; it is simply a way to put the course in your &#8220;shopping cart&#8221; so that you can &#8220;check-out&#8221; quickly. If a class in your backpack is full when your registration time opens, you may waitlist yourself, and\/or select an alternate open section at that time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"Do%20I%20have%20to%20register%20exactly%20at%20my%20appointment%20time,%20and%20when%20does%20my%20registration%20close?\"><strong>Q. Do I have to register exactly at my appointment time?&nbsp;When does my registration close?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.<\/strong>&nbsp;Some classes will fill quickly, or seats may be opened to non-Ross students after registration has been open for a week or more, so it is to your advantage to register when your appointment time opens. Once your appointment time opens, you can continue to make changes until the <a href=\"\/academics\/registration-dates\">drop\/add deadlines<\/a>&nbsp;for Fall&nbsp;2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"How%20do%20I%20find%20out%20what%20non-Ross%20courses%20are%20being%20offered?\"><strong>Q. I need to swap a course. What do I do next?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A.&nbsp;<\/strong>Students who would like to swap a course will need to complete and submit the Core Course Swap Request Form.&nbsp;&nbsp;This form will ask you to indicate which sections of a course will work in your schedule. We will match requests one to one on a first-come, first-serve&nbsp;basis, conditional on availability of a match. The more sections you indicate as working in your schedule, the more likely your swap will be completed. To submit a swap request is to&nbsp;<em>commit to swap<\/em>&nbsp;and, once a swap has been processed and permissions to enroll in the new section have been entered into Wolverine Access, the commitment to swap is complete and the students&nbsp;<em>must switch sections<\/em>.&nbsp; Since the student&#8217;s original seat is given to another student during the swap processing, any student wanting back into his\/her original section after swaps have been processed will need to submit another swap request.&nbsp; Please note that, although swap requests are processed regularly, there is no guarantee that a swap request will be processed, and students are encouraged to have a back-up plan in place in consultation with their academic advisor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"How%20long%20will%20it%20take%20to%20complete%20the%20swap?%20%20How%20long%20do%20I%20have%20to%20submit%20the%20form?\"><strong>Q.
