Wherever alums&nbsp;are in the career search process, alumni career services can help with any of the following situations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Planning a career switch in the coming year<\/li><li>Currently in the process of a career switch<\/li><li>Happy in your current role but interested in staying current<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/michiganross.umich.edu\/our-community\/alumni\/alumni-advantage\/career-resources\/career-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Our Alumni Career Services website<\/a>&nbsp;details the many resources available free (for a lifetime!) to alumni, from one-on-one career coaching sessions to regular webinars and many career development resources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Michigan Ross alumni clubs are encouraged to share this information with their club members, and also to contact the alumni career services staff to explore the potential of developing a topic-specific career development webinar on an area&nbsp;of interest to your club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information about the resources the Alumni Career Services offers online and how our staff can support your alumni club&nbsp;specifically, check out this webinar from September 2017 with Angie Blunden, Associate Director of Alumni Career Coaching:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please direct any and all career-related inquiries and ideas to <a href=\"mailto:rossalumnicareers@umich.edu\">rossalumnicareers@umich.edu<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">AlumniFire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u200bA few clubs have expressed interest in creating an alumni-to-alumni mentorship program.\u00a0The Office of Alumni Relations is pleased to share that <em><strong>AlumniFire<\/strong><\/em>, a networking platform designed specifically for university\u00a0alumni to interact with one another and with current students, was launched in September 2017. (Read more\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/michiganross.umich.edu\/ross-news-blog\/2017\/09\/08\/here-s-list-michigan-ross-alumni-you-can-call-when-you-need-them-it-s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on the Michigan Ross News blog<\/a>.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Co-founded by a Michigan Ross alum, AlumniFire allows alums to choose from a variety of pre-selected services they\u2019re willing to offer to students and fellow alumni, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Informational interviews<\/li><li>Networking<\/li><li>Resume reviews<\/li><li>Start-up advice<\/li><li>Job shadowing&nbsp;and more&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alums have the option to pledge a specific amount of time they are available per month to provide offered services.&nbsp;Once the&nbsp;maximum time&nbsp;for the month is reached, they&nbsp;are removed from the directory until the following month. For ease of&nbsp;use, AlumniFire can also&nbsp;be connected to your LinkedIn account.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hundreds of Ross Wolverines have already joined&nbsp;AlumniFire.
