Amount will be included in the student&#8217;s COA budget.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost of Attendance (COA) Budget<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A student&#8217;s financial aid is awarded based on the above standard estimated&nbsp;Cost of Attendance (COA) budget. Students may&nbsp;borrow up to the Cost of Attendance budget; less other aid (such as scholarships and department aid) to cover other budget expenses. All funds, scholarships, loans or other funding received, <strong>must fit <\/strong>within the COA budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Any awarding after receiving full COA budget, may affect other aid. Please reach out to Ross Financial Aid to have financial aid reviewed to know if something will be affected.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students&nbsp;enrolled <strong>less than 9 credits<\/strong> will be subject to a budget adjustment. Financial Aid will identify the students that are less than 9 credits after the University\u2019s first initial Add\/Drop date of the semester, and adjust student\u2019s Cost of Attendance to match that of actual tuition charge on account, which may result in a reduction of awarded&nbsp;aid. To learn more about the University&#8217;s Add\/Drop date, visit the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ro.umich.edu\/calendars\" target=\"_blank\">Registrar&#8217;s website and click on &#8220;Calendars&#8221;<\/a>&gt; checkbox &#8220;Registration Deadlines&#8221;&gt; select an &#8220;Academic Term&#8221; and hit &#8220;Submit&#8221; to view the University&#8217;s registration deadlines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes the standard estimated Cost of Attendance does not realistically meet a student\u2019s actual expenses. Student&#8217;s that are in need of additional aid beyond the standard estimated Cost of Attendance budget,&nbsp;may want to seek a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/rossweb.bus.umich.edu\/financial-aid\/other\" target=\"_blank\">Budget Re-Evaluation<\/a>. On behalf of the student, the&nbsp;participating MAP company sponsors will cover all MAP related expenses. To account for the cost of MAP covered by the company sponsors,&nbsp;and as per federal regulations, this support must be reported against the student&#8217;s account.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What this means to you and your financial aid:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For all&nbsp;full time&nbsp;MBA1 students participating in MAP in Winter 2027, an estimated &#8220;MAP Ross Placeholder&#8221; of $5,000&nbsp;will show on the financial aid award. This is to&nbsp;record the cost covered by the MAP company sponsors. All MBA1 Cost of Attendance budgets are also&nbsp;increased by $5,000 to accommodate this placeholder, and to not impact aid and loan borrowing eligibility. Therefore, the budget increase and the corresponding placeholder cancel each other out and create an equal balance of expenses and payments against the student&#8217;s&nbsp;account.&nbsp;The MAP placeholder <strong>will not reduce, refund or disburse against<\/strong> the student&#8217;s account \/ tuition cost.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-kb-palette-2-color\">Entering 2026-2027 MBA1 students will see a MBA MAP placeholder listed in the amount of $5,000. The MAP placeholder will not reduce, refund or disburse against the student&#8217;s account \/ tuition cost.&nbsp;<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dual Degree MBA Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>There are more than 20 established dual degree programs available to Michigan Ross students. Most dual programs require a three-term enrollment at Michigan Ross and three terms with your dual program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contact <a href=\"mailto:rossgradacadadvising@umich.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ross Graduate Academic Advising<\/a> for more information on dual degrees, and keep in contact with Ross Financial Aid during your dual degree studies at the University of Michigan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ross Financial Aid office processes general financial aid for all Ross dual programs with the exception of Law and Medical. Dual Law and Medical students should contact their Law and Medical financial aid offices for assistance.
