Day Pass – All UM Ann Arbor Undergraduate Students & All Students Summer Access
To access WRDS, you will need to request a Day Pass using your @umich.edu email address.

WRDS Accounts – All UM Ann Arbor Masters, PhD, Faculty and Staff
To access WRDS, you will need to register for an individual WRDS account.
To create an account:
- Click on the Register tab
- Select University of Michigan from the drop down list.
- Select Affiliation Type
- Provide your name, @umich,edu email address, department, desired username and graduation/affiliation end year.
- Click Register
You will receive email confirmation of your request. Within a few business hours, you will receive another email with a link to create your WRDS password.
If you do not receive a confirmation email from WRDS or have other questions, contact Jennifer Zimmer at jamm@umich.edu.
Note: Accounts for Masters students are active for Fall and Winter semesters only. For students actively taking classes or doing research with faculty during Spring/Summer, an extension may be granted. Contact Jennifer Zimmer – jamm@umich.edu – for further information.
