You can forward your Ross desk phone to another phone (home office, cell phone, etc.) to continue receiving calls when working remotely.<\/p>\n

How to set up Call Forwarding:<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. On the buttons located under the screen on your phone base, you should see one of the following choices \u201cCFwdAll,\u201d \u201cFwdAll,\u201d or \u201cmore\u201d:\n
      \n
    1. Select either the \u201cCFwdAll\u201d or \u201cFwdAll\u201d if available. If not, select \u201cmore.\u201d                                                                                                               \"\"<\/li>\n
    2. After selecting the \u201cmore\u201d option, select either the \u201cCFwdAll\u201d or \u201cFwdAll\u201d option. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
    3. After the beep, enter  9 + 1 + <area code – phone number> of the phone number you\u2019d like to use for forwarding. This action will register the external number and forward your office line to it.<\/li>\n
    4. Calls will appear on your desk phone screen as \u201cTo XXX-XXX-XXXX\u201d<\/li>\n
    5. You can press \u201cFwd Off\u201d to end the call forwarding when you want.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Tips when using the call forwarding feature:<\/h2>\n
        \n
      • Your outgoing voicemail message on the forwarded phone will play for people who call your desk phone.<\/li>\n
      • Voicemail messages are left on the forwarded phone<\/li>\n
      • The forwarding remains active until it\u2019s turned off on your desk phone. You will need to remember to \u201cturn off\u201d and \u201cturn on\u201d call forwarding. It cannot be programmed for specific days. <\/li>\n
      • When you are onsite, you should turn off the forwarding so your phone will reflect its location within the university emergency system.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
