Shortcode Hosting

The U-M Shared Services Center (SSC) handles Statement of Activity (SOA) reconciliation for the university. In order to assist the SSC with reconciling charges, ACT coordinators provide documentation on behalf of their units for hosted meals charged directly to a department shortcode.

Please submit the following documents/information for processing:

• The name of the person who approved the charge (usually a department or program manager)
• The business purpose for the charge
• Shortcode used
• A list of the event’s attendees
• A copy of the receipt

Please submit this documentation to your ACT coordinator promptly upon receiving the receipt to ensure accurate reconciliation.
