Required Reading

Required Reading is the reference and resource guide for students who are awarded financial aid at the University of Michigan. We call it Required Reading because it answers many questions students ask about their financial aid and provides information you must know in order to receive financial aid at U-M. You are expected to read it in order to understand the rights and responsibilities that go along with receiving your aid.

Scholarships that Require Application

Ross Scholarships (also known as departmental scholarships) come from both corporate and private donors. Most of these scholarships require demonstrated financial need and merit. We encourage all students to apply for financial aid through completing a FAFSA application to receive full consideration for all need based scholarships, even if you do not believe you will qualify for financial need.

All students who will be attending Ross are automatically considered for Ross scholarships through the admissions process.

While the vast majority of Ross scholarships do not require a separate application from time to time we will have a small handful of scholarship that requires application. Click on the respective link to learn more about these scholarships that require applications

Note if you do not see your program listed above that means our office does not have any scholarships offered to your program that requires application for consideration.
