Schedule an Advising Appointment

Academic advisors are available over the summer either in person or virtually. You can schedule an individual advising appointment in the Advising System. Be sure to check your advisor’s modality as you schedule appointments! If you’re meeting virtually, an email with a Google Meet link will be sent the morning of your appointment.

Virtual drop-in hours will resume in September!

Tuesdays and Wednesdays (during fall & winter terms)

Undergraduate Students

Ross Undergraduate Academic Advisors

Welcome, First Year students! We look forward to meeting you during your Orientation experience this summer, and working with you throughout your time in the BBA program!

Welcome new cross-campus and external transfer students! Please take some time to review the important transfer information outlined on this page. We look forward to meeting you!

All BBA students: Please feel free to connect with academic advising if you have any questions throughout the summer!

Ross Academic Peer Advising

In addition to your assigned academic advisor, Ross Academic Peer Advisors (RAPAs) are available to provide student perspectives and advice on academics at Ross and UM.

Throughout the summer months, RAPAs will be available to meet with all incoming First Year students during the Advising Day portion of New Student Hybrid Orientation.  During the Fall and Winter terms, RAPAs will be available via appointment or during scheduled drop-in hours to meet with current BBA students.

Undergraduate Academic Advising

Current BBA students may schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor during posted appointment times (usually made available two weeks in advance) or reach out to us via email.  Advisors also hold virtual drop-in advising hours Monday-Friday during the Fall and Winter terms – please click here for updated details and information.

Fall Term Exam Schedules

Are you really registered for the classes that you’re planning to attend this Fall? Have you made sure you know when your exams are before you buy that perfect flight?

Take time now to ensure that your schedule is accurate in Wolverine Access and the registration deadlines are in your calendar.

Make sure you know when your final exams are! View the Ross final exam schedules BEFORE making any travel plans.

If you have a conflict between two class exams, or have documentation for exam accommodations, be sure to notify and work with your instructor as soon as possible at the start of the semester.

Questions? Please reach out to us at rossregistrarsoffice@umich.edu.

Preparing for Academic Success

  1. Check your schedule periodically, especially in the week before a drop/add deadline! Why this is important: Students can’t change the grading basis of a course after the drop/add deadline. Also, if you have to late drop a course, the class will still count towards your term total units as well as remain on your record.

  2. Be sure that you’re taking classes which will fulfill your degree requirements. Review the Core Curriculum page, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor, and/or review the “My Academic Requirements” link in Wolverine Access.

  3. Take a glance at your program’s Bulletin. This handy resource contains answers to nearly all of the questions you may have about academic policies!

  4. If you would like to improve your performance in a class, reach out to the instructor for tutor references.

  5. Consider using Ross Communication Consulting for help with assignments.
