Staff Recognition Committee (SRC)

Formed in 1992, the Staff Recognition Committee (SRC) is composed of Ross School of Business staff members, is voluntary and completely self-governed. The Dean and their administration enthusiastically support the work of the committee.

The SRC is committed to promoting and facilitating the program which was designed to recognize the achievements and accomplishments of the school’s staff. Using a peer review process, the program makes invisible efforts more visible and highlights the people who strive to make the Ross School of Business the best.

Once a year, awards are given to staff members whose contributions are recognized as being exemplary within the school community. The committee members, who represent different departments, vote through a blind selection process.

The Voting Process: Deciding which nominees receive an award.

  1. All nominations have identifying information of the nominee removed before the voting process begins.

  2. The SRC votes on the nominations and selects the top recipients.

  3. For supervisory nominations, the top four are sent to the Leadership Team who then selects the final two recipients.
