Introducing Recycle Write
Michigan Ross Operations is proud to partner with the Office of Campus Sustainability to help the Ross community dispose of pens, pencils, and markers in an environmentally responsible way.
What Do We Accept?
- Markers (and caps)
- Pens (and caps)
- Permanent markers (and caps)
- Mechanical pencils
- Wooden black pencils
- Highlighters (and caps)
What Do We Not Accept?
- Pens with lights or other electronic components
- Penlights and laser pointers
- Correction fluid pens/sticks/tape
- Colored pencils
- Crayons
- Erasers
Collection Points
- Everyone at Ross, faculty, staff, and students, can drop off any of the items listed above at the Ross Welcome Desk during hours of operation.
- On faculty floors, Recycle Write bins will be located in the hubs.
- In the Staff suites, Recycle Write bins will be located in designated kitchens or supply rooms.
- Look for the Recycle Write logos!
- Are you concerned about classroom recycling? The Operations team regularly inspects writing utensils in classrooms and study rooms, ensuring they are recycled when they are no longer usable.Â
