Signatures

Email signatures may vary depending on the intent of the email. Formal email signatures for faculty and staff should include our school name, as well as the same contact information one would find on a business card. Informal email signatures include professional, business-related information above the Michigan Ross logo image, as well as optional social media icons and selected contact information.

As a way to guide people to use the personal pronouns you prefer and show solidarity for intersex, transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming people, we invite you to add the following statement to your email signature under your name (please change pronouns to match your gender identity/expression): “Pronouns: she/her/hers.”

Below is how the dean’s email signature should be presented in emails to faculty, students, staff, and alumni, as well as how the dean’s signature should be written in the commencement booklet. The dean has authority to make changes to the signature.
