Salesforce Administrator Training

Ross hosted the Salesforce Administrator Training in July for those who were interested in learning more about the setup, security and structure of Salesforce. The training was opened up to units and schools across campus, and the response was so great that we had to schedule 2 sessions of 18 attendees. We are hopeful that those of you who were able to attend took away some great ideas on how your business unit could utilize Salesforce, and that it helped give you an idea about how to prepare your data for migrating to the new Ross Salesforce Org.

Ross Marketing and Communications update

The Ross Marketing and Communications team has been working hard to define the RNT data to migrate over to Salesforce through the creation of a Data Dictionary. Clean your data

As we start to onboard groups we will need your help with cleaning up your data to import. There are several separate systems and spreadsheets all across Ross, and we want to make sure that our new database is accurate, usable and credible so that other’s don’t look elsewhere for their data and communication needs. Here are some tips on how you can get started. Feel free to reach out to the Ross CRM Implementation Team if you have any questions on how to get started.

  • Remove Duplicate records
  • Correct spelling and punctuation
  • Enforce naming conventions
  • Fill in incomplete data
