Want to learn how to leverage U-M’s AI tools for your Canvas courses? 

Then ‘Make a Maizey’ with the ITS Emerging Technology team! This dynamic workshop will teach you how to create an AI-powered assistant for your Canvas courses in just a few minutes using Maizey, U-M’s custom AI platform. No prior knowledge necessary.

Faculty, instructors, Canvas admins, and all other interested parties are welcome to attend. Bring a laptop to work from, and enjoy some food and fun swag!

No registration necessary, walk-ins encouraged!

AI Prompting May 28

Please join Ross IT to learn about prompting in artificial intelligence (AI). 

A prompt is the input provided to an AI system to receive a specific response. It’s how you interact with an AI system, and learning how to create prompts effectively will significantly improve your AI experience.

In these sessions, we’ll cover:

  • What makes a good prompt?
  • Prompt examples
  • Prompting in U-M GPT vs. U-M Maizey

These sessions last approximately 50 minutes, are first come, first served, and are limited to 20 attendees. They will also include opportunities for you to create prompts.
