Your instructor will provide you a link in Canvas or via email to Zoom. Video conferencing with Zoom allows for medium and small size courses to meet virtually. Tools include: chat, whiteboard, screen sharing, annotation tool, breakout rooms, file sharing. Data transfer:
For reliable file transfers with or without VPN, use Globus File Transfer to access your research data. Globus is supported on the Great Lakes HPC Cluster, Lighthouse HPC Cluster, ConFlux, and the ThunderX Cluster. For other systems continue to use scp/sftp or other supported transfer. If you need to attend class remotely, check with your instructor. You may be asked to join lectures in real time via Zoom or in Canvas.
