Welcome to the 2023-2024 academic year!

On behalf of everyone at Ross IT, I want to welcome you to the 2023-2024 academic year and wish you success in your educational endeavors.

Ross IT remained busy over the past year, improving the experience for Ross faculty, students, and staff. Some of the updates we’ve completed include:

Confidence Monitors in Ross Classrooms: We enhanced the classroom experience by adding confidence monitors and integrating them into our touch panel display for ease of use. After the positive feedback we received during our pilot, we expanded the project and installed confidence monitors in R2210, R2220, and R2230. We will work to add this setup to the remaining Ross-tiered rooms during the year.

Improved Display Experience in the Blau Classrooms: We updated the video walls in all Blau classrooms to an LED video wall. This change results in a seamless display experience removing the nine separate monitors which visually obstructed your view.

Enhanced student experience through screen sharing. We have updated the perimeter monitors in B1570, B2560, and B3560 with the screen-sharing application Ditto. Ditto enables students to display items from their devices on the perimeter screens in those classrooms, creating the opportunity for an enhanced collaboration experience.

iMpact Renovation We restructured iMpact’s layout and menu, placing commonly used links front and center:
