Ross Undergraduate Academic Advisors

First Year students: Please remember to schedule a PDP Academic Advising appointment on iMpact to meet with an advisor (after attending one of the scheduled PDP workshops offered to First Year students). You must have your PDP appointment completed with an advisor by Friday, November 7.

All students: Registration for Winter 2026 coursework will be held November 20-December 5, and backpacking for the Winter semester will open on Monday, November 10.

We encourage you to discuss your plans for the Winter semester with an advisor in advance of registration. There are many ways, listed below, that you can connect with both academic advising and Ross academic peer advising.

Senior BBAs (from l to r): Annika Chinnaiyan, Emily Ryan, & Lauren Berry

Ross Academic Peer Advisors (RAPAs) are Senior BBA students who are available throughout the academic year to provide student perspectives and advice on academics at Ross and UM. You can schedule appointments with RAPAs or attend their weekday drop-in hours during the Fall and Winter terms.  Click here to see their introduction video.

Undergraduate Academic Advising

Current BBA students may schedule an appointment to meet with an academic advisor during posted appointment times (usually made available two weeks in advance) or reach out to us via email.  Advisors also hold virtual drop-in advising hours Monday-Friday during the Fall and Winter terms – please click here for updated details and information.

Fall Term Exam Schedules

Are you really registered for the classes that you’re planning to attend this Fall? Have you made sure you know when your exams are before you buy that perfect flight?

Take time now to ensure that your schedule is accurate in Wolverine Access and the registration deadlines are in your calendar.

Make sure you know when your final exams are! View the Ross final exam schedules BEFORE making any travel plans.

If you have a conflict between two class exams, or have documentation for exam accommodations, be sure to notify and work with your instructor as soon as possible at the start of the semester.

Questions? Please reach out to us at rossregistrarsoffice@umich.edu.

Preparing for Academic Success

  1. Check your schedule periodically, especially in the week before a drop/add deadline! Why this is important: Students can’t change the grading basis of a course after the drop/add deadline. Also, if you have to late drop a course, the class will still count towards your term total units as well as remain on your record.

  2. Be sure that you’re taking classes which will fulfill your degree requirements. Review the Core Curriculum page, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor, and/or review the “My Academic Requirements” link in Wolverine Access.

  3. Take a glance at your program’s Bulletin. This handy resource contains answers to nearly all of the questions you may have about academic policies!

  4. If you would like to improve your performance in a class, reach out to the instructor for tutor references.

  5. Consider using Ross Communication Consulting for help with assignments.
