Faculty Council Proposal Forms and Submission Deadlines

As of Academic Year 2017-2018, Faculty Councils are responsible for overseeing requests for course changes and new course creation.

All course proposals must be sent to the Faculty Council Chair by the submission deadlines as follows:

Submission Deadlines
September 1: Deadline for changes/modifications – Winter terms
November 1: Deadline for new courses and changes/modifications – Spring/Summer and Fall terms
April 1: Deadline for new courses – Winter terms

Requests must be approved by the department chair for that course. Area chairs should note their approval by signing the proposal form in addition to any email or statement of approval, for record-keeping purposes.
